The assessment modules provided are designed to assist teachers in conducting survey level assessments for the purpose of linking student need to interventions once at-risk students are identified by the universal screener.

These assessments evaluate student skills with reference to first the presence or absence of necessary target skills and keystone skills, and then for the current level of skill development regarding the acquisition, fluency and generalization of these skills.

The assessments described are not all inclusive and are simply a starting point in the assessment and intervention process.

If you follow the assessment process within the OTISS model the intervention modules will link directly to the assessment results obtained.
